THE FIRST MEDICAL CAMP OF THE YEAR 2010-2011

Vaidyo Naaraayano Hari" – It is the doctor that saves the human body from any ailments and he is like GOD. As it is rightly said in Bhagawad Gita, a human who serves the society for a right cause is the real personification of GOD – and this attitude of serving is inculcated at Abhyasa at a very tender age to students through "ARPAN" – the grama seva programme. On 18-07-2010, Abhyasa had conducted a medical camp as part of its "ARPAN" programme that served the real cause of many a poor people in around Toopran. The programme was initiated by Mrs.Veena Venugopal, Vice-Principal Academics by lighting the lamp. Many Dentists, Cardiologists and other specialists attended the camp to provide free diagnosis and advice. The programme was held the Geeta Mandir, the temple of Lord Krishna which is situated, opposite Abhyasa main gate. Many people attended the programme and got benefit out of the camp. Thanks to all the specialists who made their time and came down all the way to Toopran to serve the needy. It is the same spirit that runs the humanity.

Delicious lunch was served to all the guests at the "Aahara", the dining hall of Abhyasa. The student committees of Gram Seva and Spirituality Management in coordination with the Activity and Discipline Management teams have shown Great Spirit to see that the camp is run successfully.
