June 15, 1999 Fourth year commences with 160 students.
June 15, 1999 The school introduces 'Calendar of events' –a day-to-day action plan for the entire academic year for the benefit and perusal of parents.

  • Abhyasa completes three years of existence. First investiture ceremony of the school captain, head boy and head girl, prefects and house captains.
  • Air Chief Marshal – De La Fontaine is the chief guest for the function.
  • Master Chetan Raman (all rounder) initiated as the school captain.
  • Ms.Natasha Flason is the head girl and Master Rohit Kandlikar is the head boy
August 26, 1999 Inauguration of the Administrative block 'Aashaya' – by the Commissioner & Director of school education, Mr. T. Vijay Kumar I.A.S.
September 19, 1999 First time participation by Abhyasa students in a National group songs competition conducted by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bhagyanagar where almost 100 schools participated. Abhyasa won the prize for best singing group.
September 30, 1999 Commissioning of the girls dormitory wing 'Ahalya' by Smt.Jamuna Ramana Rao.

  • First time participation by Abhyasa students in an external sports competition at the sports meet of the 'Association of ICSE Schools'.
  • Master Kalyan Chakravarthy of class X wins a gold medal for shot put throw.
November 18, 1999 Second public performance by the Abhyasa students at the International Children's Film Festival, Hyderabad.
December 31, 1999 Celebration of dawn of the New millennium – All students light candles and chant all-religion prayers for universal peace at the stroke of 12.

February 6, 2000 Consecration of a Vishnu temple –'Aradhana' on the school campus.
March 1, 2000 First batch of class X students appear for the public exam conducted by the Council for ICSE. 21 students appear. 100% pass percentage.

  • Fourth Valedictory function Chief guest : Mr. Rajashekar, film star.
  • Master G. Naveen (class IX-2000) bags the all-rounder gold medal and the most popular student of the year.
  • An emotional farewell to the 1st out going batch of class X.
May 21, 2000 First full page article in Sunday supplement published in the Deccan Chronicle newspaper with a circulation of over one lakh copies in and around Andhra Pradesh. The article evaluates Abhyasa as a perfect modern gurukul with the right environment and facilities for the all round personality development of students.
