Abhyasa Birthday & Investiture Ceremony 2013
ABHYASA International Residential School Toopran celebrated their Eighteenth Birthday with Pomp and Splendor. It was a day packed with loads of Entertainment, fun and frolic. Morning 6.30 all the Abhyasites went for "Nagar Sankeertan", to Toopran. The air was filled with Spiritual vibes as all the students were chanting Shlokas and singing Bhajans through the roads of Toopran.
Then at 12 Noon we had "Narayan Seva" (food distribution) to the underprivileged people of Toopran.
The afternoon session started with a bang as all the ex-students of Abhyasa played a Basket Ball Match with Team Abhyasa. It was a delightful sight to see the oldies struggle to keep up pace with young Abhyasites, who finally won the match draining the energies out of Ex Students. The evening session started with our Founder Principal and Director Vinaayak Sir's address to the Newcomers followed by plantation of Ashoka trees in Priyanka's Playground.

The Evening Started with a Stunning Performance of Classical Dance by Senior Girls of Abhyasa.
It was an important day for all the students as Class Leaders, Dorm Leaders and Academic Coordinators were chosen for the year 2013-2014. As a part of Investiture ceremony they were felicitated with a Badge by Vinaayak Sir

and an Oath taking ceremony happened soon after so that they remember to do the work with responsibility and determination, throughout the year.
The Night was awesome as the ex Abhyasites shared their views with all in the Open Amphi Theatre. It was drizzling still all school was enjoying the function. A huge cake was cut by Vinaayak Sir and all old students to celebrate the Birthday and in the back drop was played the song Baar Baar ye Din aaye – Tum Jiyo Hazaaro Saal, the song still lingering in the minds of one and all while having a sumptuous dinner with stunning settings at Priyanka's play pen. The day ended with happy memories for everyone.
