Weekend Flood Light Volley Ball Match

Sports are an aspect of human life that is of paramount importance. It certainly increases the quality of human life, builds up the character and personality of a person. Certainly is an excellent tool to keep the body physically fit.

Ramzan Celebrations

The students of Abhyasa visited nearby mosque where the maulvi narrated the story of Islam to all the curious minds. The students learnt about how Islam emerged and they spoke to the maulvi about their doubts regarding the story. All the students spent the evening with morals and values of Islam culture.

Hanumaan Janmotsav

Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and the biggest Bhakta of Lord Rama. Hanuman is glorified as an emblem of physical power, diligence and devotion. Not just physical strength, but even strength of mind is also important. It is believed that Lord Hanuman can change form. He teaches us to adapt to every situation. Abhyasites celebrated Hanumaan Janmotsav with great devotion. Visited ‘Cheruvu gattu ‘ Hanumaan Temple had Darshan and chanted Hanumaan Chalisa. May Lord Hanuman offer us all his power, bless us with his diligence and bestow us with the art of devotion as he had for Lord Ram. Happy Hanuman Jayanti.

Market Experience Activity

Today Students of Grade XII have been taken to a local weekly market at Toopran, as a part of the English language class activity. Students interacted with the vendors and observed the price difference of different commodities here in the weekly market and that of city super markets, their average profit and their experiences. The aim of the activity was to experience the local market and to write a composition on Our market experiences.

Abhyasa students experienced the joy of giving as part of Rural service Management (Grama seva), the students of Abhyasa are distributing the butter milk for the pedestrians.

A good leader should have integrity, self-awareness, courage, respect, empathy and gratitude. They should be learning agile and flex their influence while communicating and delegating effectively. Our CEO Mr Vinaayaka Kalleetla had an interaction about leadership qualities with the students.

Culinary Club Activity

Culinary Club provides environment for students to learn cooking skills in Current trends on food and to improve creative skills to the students. The students are encouraged to participate and lead activities. As a part of the culinary activity Abhyasites learned the skills of preparing dough and making chapatti.

Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam

We celebrate Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam on the 24th of April every year, expressing our love and gratitude for the grace, guidance and blessings we receive from Baba. This day is also now celebrated as World Human Values Day with emphasis on the practice of the five human values, namely Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-violence. The students of Abhyasa International joined the hands together as we are grateful to our Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, for uniting us as one family, to offer our love and gratitude at His divine lotus feet.

A Two-day Orientation Programme for Academic Staff of Abhyasa School.

The new Academic year 2023-24 of Abhyasa International Residential School, Toopran, began on June 2nd 2023 with an intensive and thought provoking two day Orientation Programme (June 2nd, 2023 and June 3rd 2023) for the academic staff of our school.

To begin the session, a short introductory speech was delivered by the School Advisor, Mrs Veena Venugopal and also introduced our eminent Founder Director and CEO.

Shri Vinaayak Kalletla Garu, the founder Director and CEO of the school enlightened the members of the academic staff with the role of a teacher- facilitator in meeting the challenges of moulding a child’s mind in G Z to make the students build and develop their confidence with creativity and a strong character in building a competent India.

The fundamental focus of the conducive and intensive session was on the unique and salient features of the school aiming in preparing the students to be competent with integrity, empathy, effectiveness to meet and build a competent nation

The foundation of every teaching should be to introduce critical thinking in children through experiential learning and hands on activities was one of the main focuses of the session. The members of the Academic Staff were further asked to express themselves in understanding and declaring Who am I as an activity of the training programme.

On day 2 of the intensive Orientation programme the Principal of the school Dr Megharani Giri presented an insightful presentation on “Teaching by Reaching” followed by a fruitful session conducted by the Academic Adviser, Mrs Veena Venugopal on Experiential Learning and its significance in focusing on developing a reflective mind set in the students through learning by doing or experiencing.

The post lunch session included experiential learning activities presented by the teachers across all departments of the school.

The two day Orientation Programme was concluded successfully emphasizing on the broad mission, vision and human values of Abhyasa International Residential School.

Telangana Formation Day

Telangana Formation Day holds immense importance for the people of Telangana, as it provides an opportunity to honour their cultural heritage and commemorate the creation of their state. The formation of Telangana was officially recognised on June 2, 2014, which is celebrated as Telangana Formation Day. This marked the culmination of the long-standing demand for separate statehood for the Telangana region.

On the prestigious and honourable occasion of Telangana Formation Day, the Administrative and Academic Staff of Abhyasa International Residential School paid homage and tribute by hoisting the National Flag and singing; “Telangana Raashtra Geetham”: Jaya hey Telangana”, with feelings of patriotism and pride.

World Environment Day

World Environment Day is a global platform for inspiring positive change. 2023 Theme: Solutions to Plastic Pollution

This year marks the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day, which will focus on solutions to plastic pollution, using the hash tag and slogan #BeatPlasticPollution

Abhyasa International Residential School has celebrated the world Environment Day. As a part of the celebration assembly talk was given by Principal, teachers and students, to create awareness about the importance of environmental protection. Students planted the saplings, removed the weeds and watered the plants

Ice Breaking Ceremony

Abhyasa welcomed the New Students. To warm up the conversation among the New Abhyasites and to facilitate forming themselves into a team ABHYASITES celebrated ICE-BREAKING ……Many students feel shy to express themselves even though they have immense potential. An unknown environment stands as a great barrier to exploring their hidden potentials. Here successful icebreaking has ensured a safe environment to explore the latent talents of the students. Until and unless the new students feel free and friendly with each other, they will hardly start a conversation.

The fun filled evening was started by the lightning of lamp by our CEO & Founder Director Mr. Vinayaka Kalletla garu , our School Advisor Mrs. Veena Venugopal and the School Principal. Enthusiastic performances as dances, skits, fun games, Magic show etc. Buddies were allotted to the new students of Abhyasa followed by the open dance.

Abhyasa's 27th Birthday

Abhyasa International Residential school, Celebrated its 27th Birthday on 21st June 2023, the program was preceded by a warm welcome of our beloved CEO & Founder Director of Abhyasa , Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla.

Abhyasa Birthday is the special occasion that honours the foundation and establishment of the school. June 21st serve as a way for Abhyasites to commemorate the history and glorious growth of the institution.

Abhyasites celebrated the 27th birthday with immense joy and happiness. The celebrations started with Vedic chanting and Lightning of lamp by Mr.Vinaayaka Kalleetla, CEO & Founder Director of Abhyasa, Mrs.Veena Venugopal, School Advisor and Dr. Megharani, Principal. Students presented mesmerizing cultural programmes. The highlight of the program was the quiz to CEO Sir by Manthan, of class XII.

The Abhyasa Alumni returned to the school to celebrate. The evening connecting the past with present, sharing their experiences and inspiring the next generation.

All the students gathered on the stage along with the CEO Sir for cake cutting ceremony. Splendid night came to an end by Alumni joining CEO Sir for a delicious dinner.

The true essence of yoga revolves around elevating the life force or ‘Kundalini’ at the base of the spine. It aims to achieve this through a series of physical and mental exercises. At the physical level, the methods comprise various yoga postures or ‘asanas’ that aim to keep the body healthy. The mental techniques include breathing exercises or ‘pranayama’ and meditation or ‘dhyana’ to discipline the mind.

Thank you for your invaluable service to humanity. On the occasion of Doctors Day, Our School Advisor Mrs. Veena Venugopal felicitated our School Doctor, Alumni, Dr. Samrat Vishnu Vardhan of 2002 Batch. He is a Laparoscopic Surgeon with 10 years of experience in the field. In his speech he shared his experience and motivated the students.

We wish him a successful career ahead.

Guru Purnima
Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau
Tasyaite kathitaa hi arthaaha prakashante mahatmanaha

The word guru comes from the two Sanskrit words gu+ru. Gu means ignorance or darkness and ‘ru’ means the removal of darkness. Gurus are named so because they remove the darkness from our lives by teaching us the right things and showing us the right path. He is the person who helps us to enlighten ourselves and guides to lead a prosperous life. India is the only country where Gurus are praised and where there are a large number of followers and disciples. Gurus have existed since ancient times and continue to be a part of our lives. Guru is not only a physical form but also a type of energy through which knowledge is transmitted to individuals. There is an aura that can only be felt in the presence of Guru. A Guru can be our parent, our life guide and the source of our mental peace. The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated with much gust and galore in Abhyasa. The day began with Nagara Sankeerthana As a part of Guru Poornima, students of Abhyasa Residential School distributed food to the underprivileged people of Toopran. Students of the school realised social responsibilities through this programme. The programme was initiated by team Rural Service of Abhyasa.
A.P. & TELENGANA REGIONAL KABBADI TOURNAMENT

Abhyasa International Residential School hosted A.P. & TELENGANA REGIONAL kabbadi tournament. “Despite the heavy rain, the kabbadi tournament inaugural ceremony was a great success! The cool climate made it a perfect day. The program started off on a positive note with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Mr. Venu Gopal, former international kabbadi player and The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hyderabad and our Founder Director & CEO, Mr.Vinaayaka Kalleetla.

The honourable chief guest gave an inspiring speech, about the importance of sports. It was a great way to start the day’s festivities! It was amazing to see Thirteen CISCE schools participate in the event. It was inspiring to see so many students come together and compete in such a great sport! Thanks for the unforgettable experience!”

Abhyasa celebrated Bonalu Festival in the traditional way.

Bonalu is a significant cultural festival celebrated in the Telangana region of India. It is celebrated in honour of the goddess Mahakali, who is believed to protect the people from evil and diseases. Abhyasites celebrated Bonalu festival with great enthusiasm and joy, marked by colourful procession, music and dance performance. Students dressed up in traditional attire and participated in the festivities. Bonam – New pots were decorated with turmeric, vermilion, neem leaves. One interesting fact is that the word “Bonalu” is derived from the Telugu word “Bhojanalu,” which means “meal” or “feast”. A special meal was prepared and offered to the goddess Pochamma as a sign of respect and devotion. The highlight of the Bonalu festival was the procession, which was led by the students and accompanied by drum beats and dance performance. The procession marked its way to the temple, where special prayers and offerings were made to the Goddess Pochamma Temple under the Banyan Tree.

Overall, the Bonalu festival is an important part of the cultural identity of the Telangana region and opportunity for people to come together and celebrate their shared cultural heritage.

The Independence Day celebrations

The vibrant spirit of patriotism filled the air as the Abhyasa’s Independence Day celebrations commenced with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event began with an impressive march past by the three houses – Siva, Shakthi and Sarva. The synchronized movements of the students displayed their unity and discipline, reflecting the essence of the day.

The highlight of the morning was the flag hoisting ceremony, carried out with honour and dignity by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Megha Rani Giri and The Registrar, Mr.Prathamesh Rahate. The unfurling of the tricolour flag symbolized the nation’s freedom and the sacrifices made by countless individuals to attain it.

Nature Picnic

As the sun began to set on the day of Independence, an aura of excitement enveloped the students as they embarked on a nature picnic to a nearby haven of tranquillity. The destination, nestled amidst lush greenery, rolling hills and vast fields, promised an evening of joy and camaraderie like no other. The rhythmic swaying of the trees and the gentle breeze whispered tales of nature’s splendour, setting the perfect ambiance for a gathering filled with happiness and unity.

The Independence Day nature picnic was not just an escapade into the lap of nature; it was a celebration of freedom, unity and the simple pleasures that life has to offer. The students returned campus with a renewed sense of camaraderie, memories to treasure and a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us in every corner of our nation.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations

Sri Krishna Janmashtami is a joyous occasion celebrated with great fervour at Abhyasa, embodying the essence of Krishna Tatva or the divine qualities of Lord Krishna. This auspicious day marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, and is a time for devotees to immerse themselves in his teachings and life principles.

At Abhyasa, Janmashtami is not merely a festival but a spiritual journey where students come together to chant sacred mantras, sing devotional songs and enact Krishna’s divine pastimes. The atmosphere is filled with devotion and enthusiasm.

Abhyasa International Residential School, witnessed an exhilarating battle of wits in the Mind Wars Quiz Contest!

A total of 136 bright minds participated in the preliminary written round, showcasing their knowledge and skills. Out of this fierce competition, only 12 exceptional students emerged as finalists, proving their mettle.

The final quiz was nothing short of mind-blowing, featuring four intense rounds that explored every corner of knowledge.

All the finalists were rightfully honoured with well-deserved Merit Certificates for their outstanding performance.

Our heartfelt congratulations to our Abhyasites, the top champions:

  • Rahul of Grade X , Vineel Gandla from Grade IX, who clinched the First Prize!

The students and staff were treated to an enlightening interaction with our esteemed CEO and Founder Director, Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla. His words resonated with all of us, as he shared his invaluable insights on the importance of setting and pursuing goals, especially at the end of the first semester.

On the momentous occasion of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 98th Jayanthi, the students of Abhyasa International Residential School embraced the spirit of compassion and service. Commencing their day with Nagarasankeerthan, the melodious rendition of Swami’s bajans echoed through the air, resonating with devotion and unity

Inspired by the profound teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the students undertook a heartfelt initiative to distribute blankets to those in need. This altruistic gesture not only warmed the bodies of the less fortunate but also exemplified the core values instilled by Swami love, selflessness and a commitment to serving humanity.
