Ice -Breaking Ceremony

In welcoming the newly admitted students in the form of ice-breaking ceremony which was traditionally inaugurated while garlanding the photo of Sri Satya Sai Baba, a spiritual guru and a great philanthropist, and lighting the lamp by the Advisor Mrs. Veena Venugopal accompanied by the Principal Mr. Sudhakar.

It was indeed a fantastic event filled with love, joy, playing, dancing, singing, clapping and to say many more. Anchored by Yashaswini, class X, all the activities with the backdrop of conversation between two characters Doraemon and Nobitha portrayed by Master Vilok of class X and Mr. Sreejith, the teacher in English STEALS THE SHOW. The classical dance welcoming the audience, performed by GopaBrundaa of grade IX, Sri Nikhitha and Joshika of grade X followed by a mind blowing rhythmic dance performed by Master Shivam of class XII (CYNOSURE OF ALL EYES) and his team enthralled the audience with a loud applause.

In addition to that, conducting different fun games to all the students centred around the new students are figured as STAR ATTRACTION of the beautiful evening. The fun loving games which are conducted are Balloon race, blow to win, reach your cup, cup wars, head, shoulder, knee & cup, bottle flip, fruit jump and many more created like an extravaganza buzz of the day. Finally, an innovative activity was conducted i.e. BUDDIES ASSIGNMENT tying buddy bands by the newly admitted students to the old students stands as the core part of the programme since it meant for bringing the new students bonding with the old students to integrate them to the mainstream of the Abhyasa family. It really yields good result there by creating A HOME AWAY FROM HOME atmosphere for the newly admitted students. An opened dance performed by all the students on the stage marked the end of the entertainment activities.

28th Birthday of Abhyasa

Abhyasa International Residential School, located in Toopran, Medak District, Telangana, celebrated its annual birthday on 21st June 2024, with much pomp and vigour.

The celebration commenced with the inauguration of the Values Lab on the school campus by the chief guest, Mr. J Krishna Kishore, Retired Chief Commissioner of the Income Tax Department. This significant addition aims to enhance moral and ethical learning among students, aligning with Abhyasa School’s commitment to holistic education.

Mr. J Krishna Kishore inaugurated the Values Lab, symbolizing the school’s dedication to nurturing strong ethical values among its students.

Ms. Veena Venugopal, the school advisor, delivered a warm welcome speech and introduced

Mr. J Krishna Kishore to the audience, acknowledging his distinguished career and support for education.

Mr. Balaji Rao, the Vice Principal, introduced the members of the school’s Students Council, emphasizing their role in student governance and leadership qualities.

The chief guest, Mr. J Krishna Kishore, administered the investiture ceremony, where student leaders were elected to their respective roles within the Student Council, marking a significant moment of responsibility and honour for the students.

Students showcased their talents through various cultural programs, including music, dance, and drama, reflecting the diversity and creativity nurtured at Abhyasa School.

Alumni of the school shared their experiences and insights, inspiring current students with their journeys beyond Abhyasa.

Mr. Vinayak Kalletla delivered an inspiring speech, outlining the school’s achievements and future aspirations, encouraging students to strive for excellence.

Mr. J Krishna Kishore addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of values in education.

The event not only celebrated the school’s achievements but also reinforced its commitment to fostering ethical values and holistic development among its students. As Abhyasa continues to grow and inspire, such events serve as milestones in its journey towards educational excellence and character building.

Hockey competition of AP and Telangana Regionals-2024-25

ABHYASA RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL TOOPRAN, emerge as champs by making a clean sweep of gold medals in all the three categories in the Hockey competition Abhyasa has won in U-14, U-17 andU-19 categories in the Hockey competition of AP and Telangana Regionals-2024-25 conducted on 23rd and 24th of June at NASR boy’s school- Gachibowli.

Our U-14 team won gold beating Future Kids School- Hyderabad with score of 4-0.

U-17 team has won gold beating The Hyderabad Public School- Hyderabad with a score of 1-0.

U-19 team has won gold beating NASR School with a score of 3-0.

Table Tennis at the CISCE AP & Telangana Regionals

Our Abhyasa students have once again brought laurels to the school by winning the Silver medal in the U-19 Boys category in Table Tennis at the CISCE AP & Telangana Regionals. This is our first achieving in Table Tennis —congratulations to the team, and keep up the great work.

‘Theatre Club’ with Mr. Vinay Varma, the renowned Bollywood and Tollywood actor

Abhyasa is home of holistic development of its pupils. Imparting education in experiential learning, sports and games and scholastic and co-scholastic segments is the nucleic of its curriculum.

To enable students to be exposed to various vistas of knowledge, certain initiatives are mooted out to enhance their skills in the form of club activities. One of those clubs worth mentioning here is ‘theatre art Club’.

Mr. Vinay Varma, the renowned Bollywood and Tollywood actor, script writer and film maker graced the occasion on 2/7/2024, Tuesday.

The day was scheduled into two sessions i.e. morning session from 11.30 am to 2 pm: interactive session with students and staff and post-lunch session i.e. 3.30 pm to 6 pm with the objective oriented games conducted by the artist.

During interaction, he was clarifying innumerable queries raised by the students and staff alike one of the queries raised by the students was what are the requirements for an artist to become successfully, to which he relied concentration, dedication, body language, versatility i.e. subject to change the emotions and expressions as per the character designed so.

As the morning session dealt with interactions and discussions, the post lunch session centered on practical way of learning like how a director shows guidelines and directions to the actors and based upon how these people act and perform.

The workshop is designed to encourage active participation, skill development, and the practical application of learned concepts into a culminating Theatre Production. He reiterated that the Theatre Workshop will be a transformative journey, fostering creativity, self-expression, and the development of critical thinking skills.

With the eliciting from the children of the day’s takeaways by the CEO Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla followed by felicitation of Vinay Varmaji by the CEO and his vote of thanks, the day of performance Art has come an end.

Finally, children left with all smiles and many meaningful and productive takeaways thus by feeling A GREAT CHANGE FROM ROUTINE

Kabaddi Girls

Everyone has a will to win but very few have the will to prepare to win. Our Abhyasites come under those! The Kabaddi Girls have done it again with medals in all 3 categories. 36 out of 36 have come with a medal around their necks: Gold for Under-14 category, Gold for Under-17 category and Silver for Under-19 category, Congratulations girls well done.

Our Abhyasites have done it again! This time it’s the ones with wheels on their shoes that have brought laurels to our school. They have bagged a total of 24 medals in Skating in CISCE AP&TG Regionals.

'Money Mastery', a Financial Quiz

The list of achievements this year has gotten even longer by our Abhyasites. Arshan Shamshuddin Ratnani and Bhalodi Darsh Patel of grade XII have bagged the first prize in ‘Money Mastery’, a financial quiz conducted by Gitanjali Senior School, Begumpet. They achieved the first prize out of 28 teams in the Senior category.

78th Independence Day

The celebration of 78th Independence day week started at Abhyasa International. This morning students had an cross country and they started the activity by holding the flags in hand.

Bonalu Festival

Abhyasites celebrated Bonalu festival with great enthusiasm and joy, marked by colourful procession, music and dance performance. Students dressed up in traditional attire and participated in the festivities.

Bonalu is a Hindu festival celebrated in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, India, and other parts of Telangana state. The festival is a thanksgiving to the Goddess Mahakali for the fulfillment of vows. The word “Bonalu” comes from the Telugu word “Bhojanalu,” which means “meals” or “offerings”.

During Bonalu, devotees prepare special offerings and present them to the Goddess as a token of gratitude and reverence.

The rice cooked with milk and jaggery in a new brass or earthen pot, which is decorated with neem leaves, turmeric, vermilion, and a lit lamp. That pot is carried on the heads and make an offering of the Bonam, along with bangles, sari, and turmeric-vermilion, to the Mother Goddess across the temples.

The festival is also known for its festive atmosphere, traditional music, dance, and vibrant processions.

Janmashtami

“Abhyasa School celebrated Janmashtami with joy and devotion! Students presented bhajans, dance, participated in a “Jhoola” ceremony and “Dahi Handi” competition. Inspiring Minds by Being the Change

Abhyasa Residential Public School hosted a thought-provoking three event aimed at inspiring young minds to become change-makers.

*Session 1: Wildlife Photography

Renowned wildlife photographers, Mr. Sai Kiran and Mr. Pavan, engaged students in an enlightening discussion on the wildlife photography. They emphasized the distinction between wild animals and animals in the wild, highlighting the animal behaviour and emotions, which mirror those of humans. The session also covered essential jungle etiquette, followed by a Question and answer session, where students’ queries were addressed.

Social Entrepreneurship

After lunch, Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, a distinguished alumnus and social entrepreneur, shared his transformative journey at Abhyasa. His remarkable work in the Rural Service Programme earned him a prestigious award from the United Nations. As a member of the NGO “Be the Change, Teach for Change,” Mr. Chaitanya inspired students to embrace service as a catalyst for change. Abhyasa International School Celebrates Founder’s Day with Grandeur

Abhyasa International School celebrated Founder’s Day in a royal and memorable manner, honoring the birthday of our esteemed Founder Principal and visionary CEO, Mr. Vinaayaka Kalletla, on the occasion of his birthday. The festivities reflected the theme of Mr. Kalletla as a ‘king,’ and the celebrations were nothing short of majestic.

The day began with a grand bike rally from the nearby toll gate, where students proudly waved flags bearing Mr. Vinaayaka Kalletla’s image. Upon his arrival at the campus, he was greeted with immense enthusiasm and respect from the student body.

A sacred homam was performed in the temple on the school premises to mark this auspicious occasion, invoking blessings for the continued success and welfare of the school.

Mr. Vinaayaka Kalletla then interacted with the faculty, delivering an inspiring session focused on the importance of Multiple Intelligences, self-esteem, and various types of knowledge, emphasizing holistic growth for both students and teachers.

The celebration continued with a grand birthday event held in the Amphitheatre, which was organized by the students with great enthusiasm. Mr. Kalletla took this special occasion to honor and felicitate dedicated teachers and staff with awards, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the school and the development of students.

The cultural performances were a highlight of the event, all centered around the regal theme of kingship, further adding to the grandeur of the day. The celebration culminated in a cake-cutting ceremony and an open stage dance, where everyone—students, staff, and faculty—joined in, making the event truly memorable.

Our students ,Abhyasites had the privilege of attending the inaugural event of Young Leaders for Social Change – Democratic Sangha at T-HUB, Hyderabad today. This innovative initiative, founded by our school alumnus MRSK Chaithanya and co-founder Ms. Regina Cassandra, aims to nurture a group of young change-makers to become global leaders.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries:

Wonders of Kalakriti Art Gallery

Unveiling the Wonders of Kalakriti Art Gallery: A Journey Through Creativity and Heritage

Abhyasites recently visited Kalakriti Art Gallery in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. This offered a unique learning opportunity for Gen Z, involving them in the world of art creativity.

As students explored the gallery, they uncovered the beauty of artistic skills. It revealed our rich cultural heritage, history, and traditional cartography. The exhibits showcased collection of crafted maps from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, presented in different artistic forms.

Our students had the privilege of interacting with Mr. Prashant Lahoti, the curator of the gallery and a close associate of our school CEO, Mr. Vinaayaka Kalletla, Mr. Lahoti shared captivating stories behind each handcrafted piece, revealing profound significance and importance in the context of navigation maps.

The entire collection is the handiwork of a single visionary artist, Ankon Mitra from Delhi.

The Kalakriti Art Gallery stands as a testament to the transformative power of human imagination and creativity. It reminds us that art transcends aesthetics, serving as a window into our past, present, and future.

#lifestories - The Indie Tollywood Film

All the students of Abhyasa International had the privilege of watching the indie Tollywood film #Lifestories, along with the CEO & Founder Director. The screening was made even more special as the film crew, including the director, producer, and actors, joined us. Following the movie, students engaged in a thought-provoking interaction with the creators, gaining valuable insights into the filmmaking process. The students highly appreciated the film’s distinctive narrative, which mirrors real-life experiences, steering clear of the typical cinematic tropes of villains, vamps, or melodrama. In a heartfelt gesture, the CEO & Founder Director honored the entire film crew, celebrating their dedication to bringing such a meaningful story to life.

CHOOSE YOUR PROFESSION BASED UPON YOUR PASSION
In an insightful session with Dr. Sainath M, an Executive Director in the ICFAI Foundation, the discussion centred on the evolving role of students in an AI-driven world. He focused on the students aim to choose their profession based upon their passion. He emphasized the need for students to develop critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. He added that although AI has a lot of promise, human input is always necessary for it to develop and advance. For AI systems to continue being efficient and accountable, human innovation, judgment, and ethical supervision are necessary. The workshop was thought-provoking and motivating, encouraging the students to embrace technology’s limitless potentiality while acknowledging the important role that people play in advancing it. He encouraged students to trust their instincts and embrace the unexpected twists in their own careers. It was a thought-provoking and inspirational session that encouraged us to go beyond our limitations. THUS, ALL THE STUDENTS FELT VERY GLAD TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL SESSION AS THE SCHOOL’S GIFT TO THE STUDENTS ON THEIR SPECIAL DAY “CHILDREN’S DAY.”
