Arts and Crafts Exhibition 2017

Abhyasa always tries to make its students more and more creative and gives them a space to come out with their own vision and creativity. Once in a year all the paintings and craft items prepared by the students throughout the year are displayed in the exhibition which gives the little hands an immense pleasure as their works are being displayed to all the parents and guests.

This year Arts and Crafts Exhibition was organized on 19th March 2017 in the Priyanka's Playpen in the school campus. Dr. A. Velu, a Guinness World Record holder in 2002 for "MOST MEDICINE PAINTINGS" (FASTEST ART WORKS), was the chief guest for the day. He interacted with the students on the nuances of painting and also showed a demo using expired C & D vitamin medicines, toothpaste, face cream, coffee powder, milk, betel leaves etc. He inaugurated the exhibition and spent some quality time with the arts and crafts students. Later Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla, CEO and Founder Director of Abhyasa presented a shawl, memento and gift to the Chief Guest.

Later the exhibition was open to parents to witness the art and craft work done by their children. The parents appreciated the quality of paintings and craft items. Some of the parents bought the items which were sold at a very reasonable price - the proceeds were used for a Rural Service(Gram Seva) Activities.
