Food Fest for Parents

A food fest for the parents of the students of Abhyasa was conducted on 14th August 2016. There was an overwhelming response from parents and many of them came forward to share their recipes. Only 6 parents have been given the chance to share their recipes and the others were not accommodated as there was space constraint in the kitchen. The school provided cooks and all the materials as required for the dishes. The cooks cooked as per the instructions and guidance from the parents in Aahara - the school kitchen. All the dishes prepared by the parents were so delicious and lip smacking that these recipes were immediately added to the school menu.

The names of parents and their dishes are as follows:

• Mrs. Chandrika (Mother of Shraddha - Class IV) - Moong Daal Curry
• Mr. Anil Alapathi (Father of Basant Alapathi, Class - VII)- Anokhi Kheer
• Mr. Mukesh Kharbanda ( Father of Astik K., Class - X)- Palak Aloo
• Mrs. Yashoda (Grandmother of Aakruti, Class - V)- Corn Wada
• Mrs. Anjali (Mother of Varad Ghote, Class VIII)- Bread Roll
• Mrs. Yogitha (Mother of Vedant, Class - VIII)- Green Pulav

The parents were acknowledged and were given mementos as a symbol of respect and gratitude by Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla, CEO & Founder Director and Mr. Sai Kumar, COO.
