In an attempt to inculcate Social responsibility and simplicity, TEAM Rural Service arranged an Old Age Home visit on Sunday, 29th November, 2015. The Students of Abhyasa have an opportunity to do things differently.

The students of grade 9th along with Social Service Coordinator Mr Ravindran, started the journey by 2.30pm and by 3.30pm they reached the Danghoria Old Age Home in Narsapur. In spite of fighting with the odds, their heartwarming welcome made the hearts of students skip a bit. Their laugh made the students cry. The students of Abhyasa interacted with the inmates for about 2 hours. They whole heartedly heard the inmates and their problems.

The students distributed fruits and biscuits to the inmates. They also distributed shawls to the elderly people to fight against the chill weather. The students wanted to spend more time with the inmates but for the time constraints and had to return with heavy hearts and taking a vow that they will never abandon their parents and send them to old age homes.

For all of them these memories will be cherished for their lifetime and surely many of the students decided that they will surely contribute to such worthy causes in their adult life.
