Teacher's day Celebrations at Abhyasa

Every event which is celebrated in Abhyasa has uniqueness to it. Teacher's day also was celebrated in a unique way. In the afternoon all Teachers were invited by students and escorted to Amphi Theatre for Pad Puja. Students will wash their Teachers feet and then apply Haldi and Kumkum on Teacher's feet and take blessings. It's an age old tradition but it is followed in Abhyasa. This is a form of showing respect which will be remembered by the student for their lifetime.

After this the Teachers were escorted by the students to Play Pen and the whole school gave a standing ovation to all the Teachers. After that a Group of students sang the School Song and Prayers were offered for the Guru's.

Master Vishal Are gave a short Speech about Teacher's day. How and why it is celebrated the world over. After this there was a fun quiz conducted for Teacher's. It was hosted by Mast Maitreya. Immediately after this there was a Felicitation programme for Teachers. The entire Teacher's and Admin staff was called upon the stage One by One and were given gifts by the School. Murthy Madam and Vinaayak Sir gave their Blessings to all.

The star attraction of the whole day was the Antaakshari which was organized by the students for Teacher's. Everyone participated and it was Ladies V/S Gents and the boys were cheering for the Gents staff and the Girls support was obviously for the Lady Teacher's. This event was Hosted by Master Akshit Gampa and Mast Dhanush Gontla.

Teachers on this day. A Dance was performed by the IX and X class students to specially entertain the Teacher's.

There was a Cricket Match held between Senior Students and Teachers. Which was obviously won by the Teacher's and Throw Ball match for the Lady Teachers. Shiva House and Shakti House Boards were inaugurated at the Anweshna block in the Evening. Thus it was an action packed day for everyone with lots of fun and celebrations.
