Abhyasa 20th Birthday Celebrations

The 20th Birthday of ABHYASA International Residential School, Toopran was celebrated on 21st June, 2016 with enthusiasm, fun and frolic. The students of various grades got together and put up entertaining acts and musicals. The energy and passion of the students was visible in the performances that they put up. Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla, CEO & Founder Director of Abhyasa, graced the occasion and took part in the celebrations.

The day started with Nagarsankeerthan through the Toopran town where all the students and staff joined together singing bhajans and devotional songs which ended by Harathi in the school temple. Later all the students gathered at school ground for yoga demonstration.

The evening event commenced at 17:30 hrs at Anubhava - The Amphitheater by lighting of lamp by our Principal followed by an invocation dance by Grade IX girls. There was a cloud burst during the flute performance by Mr. Ramesh, music teacher. All the students and staff were asked to move to Priyanka's Play Pen. The heavy rains and thunders could not dampen the spirits of the students. Within minutes everything including, decoration materials, flexes, chairs, music system etc were shifted into the playpen and program continued with more energy and enthusiasm. The performances included songs, solo and group dances by students of various grades. The highlight of the program was a dance by Grade XI and the grand finale wherein all the participants came in a formation with placards of Abhyasa Values and the names of previous batches. They were given a standing ovation by the audience.

It was an important day for all the students as Class Leaders, Dorm Leaders and Academic Coordinators were chosen for the year 2016-2017. As a part of Investiture ceremony, they were felicitated with a Badge by our CEO Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla and administered with the Oath taking ceremony. The Student Deputy Managers from Grade X were also invested by our CEO.

Later Our CEO declared the winners and runners of the inter house competitions held during 2015-16 and the Winners Cup was handed over to SHAKTHI House and Runners Cup to SHIVA House.

Mr. Vinaayaka Kalleetla along with the SAT members cut the huge cake on this memorable occasion. The memories of the event etched in every body's mind. The day ended with happy memories for everyone and a sumptuous dinner.
