Celebrations of the Founder's Day
It was colours, claps and cakes on the 06th of September 2009 on the campus as the day being the Founder's day – the birthday of Princi, Mr.Vinaayaka Kalleetla. The student motorcade that took the Princi around took him all over the campus staring from the Temple. As the motorcade came to a halt, he was brought down on his feet so that they can step on the rhythms played by the heavy drums and the joy is immense in all those who shared a step with him. The dancing stopped only because the drummers were tired, not the Abhyasites.
It was in the afternoon, the birthday of Sreemathi Padmavathi Kalletla, on whose land, the Abhyasa buildings stand, was celebrated. The students performed a dance for her on the popular keertana "Muddugaare Yashoda…."..of Sree Annamacharya followed by cake cutting.
During the evening snacks time the Princi personally distributed sweets to all the Abhyasites, from security to students and from staff to workers.
In the evening there was a programme at Priyanka's Playpen organized by the students, which witnessed dances, fun games and songs, and ramp walks. It was a pleasant surprise for many to see "Vinayaka.com" – the personal site of Princi launched on the occasion.
The class 9 batch of students who conducted the whole programme took the opportunity to announce their batch name – ARDENT – as always the custom at Abhyasa.
End of the day – 6th September 2009 scripted new experiences in the dairy of Abhyasa, which were so legibly written in everyone's heart.
