The 69th Independence Day was celebrated with giety and splendor at Abhyasa. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted in amphi theatre. The School COO Lt. Col. Karmachandran hoisted the Tricolor by 08.45 A.M. The entire school later witnessed the students marching in rhythm with perfect unison and coordination on the drum beats and saluted the Tricolor. The School Registrar Mr. Vijay Kumar, school Principal Mr. U.Srinivasa Murthy, Vice Principal Dr. Vandana Patluri, were also present during the program. Free School Uniforms were distributed by SAT members to the Aalingana children.

As a part of the Independence Day celebrations, the social studies department conducted various competitions which included patriotic songs, dances, fancy dress etc. for school children of different age groups. The winners were awarded with prizes. The Competitions were co-ordinated by Mr. V.P.Raveendran, History Teacher.

Lt. Col. Karmachandran, COO; Mr. Srinivas Murthy, Principal; Ms. Geetha, Commerce Teacher and Mr.Shashank Sekhar, Social Studies Teacher spoke on different topics on the occasion.

Sweet distributions were arranged outside of the Amphi Theatre. Students and teachers enjoyed the program very much. It was a day for all of us to re-dedicate our commitment towards our nation.
