De Addiction Camp 2018
Today, people of the Toopran village have been enlightened with the motive of saving the environment and their own lives. With the growing air pollution which is causing major harm to the environment and people living a locality mainly due to the smoke of cigarettes which also effects the lungs of the person who smokes, and to keep a check to this growing danger today the students of the Abhyasa International School have conducted a De-addiction camp in the Toopran village to make people aware of the growing concerns due to smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. The students at first when saw someone smoking have moved towards them and spoke to them about the ill effects of smoking cigarettes and showed them some charts which depicted the transformation of lungs from normal stage to the end stage where the lungs turn black.
Later, the students have gathered a huge crowd and spoke about the harmful of effects of smoking cigarettes and consuming alcohol, as such smoking would be a regard to air pollution and the smoke would also effect the others who are breathing near that locality. They've made few people put an end to smoking cigarettes right out there by explaining about how it would gradually effect their lives, which would cost a lot to their families in turn too.
With this social step the Abhyasa School has shown concern to the global environment and also people's lives.
