Ganesh Chaturthi has special significance in Hinduism. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapas month. The festival of worshiping and pleasing Lord Ganesh, the first of all the deities.
According to astrologers, by the grace of Lord Ganesh, happiness, peace and good fortune are attained. It is believed that worshiping lord Ganesh duly helps in resolving all the problems. Lord Ganesh is very commonly referred as 'Vighnaharta' which means the one who removes all obstacles. In 'Sanaatan Dharm' lord Ganesh is worshipped before the start of any good work. Hence Ganesh Chaturthi too has a special significance.
