Abhyasa International Residential School: Activity oriented learning the Social studies department conducted a mock parliament session today (13-4-24) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the school auditorium the students of grade 8 and 10th participated in the mock parliament session. The students were divided into two groups ruling party and the opposition party where the ministers received question from the opposition party regarding the topic of school issues and every student minister answered the questions posted by the opposition members. the honourable chair the speaker controlled the session very well but there were incidence wherein he has to pitch in to take disciplinary action against two members for their unruly behaviour the session was followed by a question answer session related to parliamentary procedures in civics it was a very good take away to the students to learn understand the parliamentary procedures.
